270,000 visitors tour Imam Reza Shrine museums in summer 2024

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The head of the Astan Quds Razavi Museum Department announced that 270,000 visitors toured the museums of Imam Reza (AS) shrine during the summer of 2024.

Abdolhossein Malek-Jafarian stated in an interview that a total of 261,000 Iranian visitors and 9,000 international visitors explored the various museums of Astan Quds Razavi this summer.

He noted that 240,000 Iranians visited the diverse collections of the Central Museum and the specialized Carpet Museum over the three-month period.

Additionally, Malek-Jafarian mentioned that 18,000 Iranians visited the Quran Museum, the Leader's Gifts Museum, the Farshchian Art Hall, and the Nahj al-Balagha Museum, while 3,000 people toured the Anthropology Museum.

To accommodate more visitors during the summer, the Central Museum extended its visiting hours until 10 PM.

Currently, the Central Museum, located in the Kowsar Courtyard, is open daily from 8 AM to 5:45 PM, including Fridays and public holidays.

Malek-Jafarian also highlighted that the Quran Museum, the Carpet Museum, and the Anthropology Museum are open from Saturday to Wednesday, 8 AM to 12:30 PM, and on Thursdays from 8 AM to 11:30 AM. These museums are closed on Fridays and public holidays.
