Ahlulbayt News Agency: Brigadier General Ahmad Ali Goudarzi, Commander of the Border Guard of the Iranian Police Force, spoke with Mehr News Agency about the recent elimination of two senior Komala commanders.
He confirmed that Iranian border guards killed Ribwar Karimian, a top commander of the terrorist group Komala, last night.
Also, Amjad Hossein Panahi, the military commander of Komala, was caught in an ambush by the IRGC and was killed.
Goudarzi revealed that a significant amount of explosives, two advanced American weapons, and two backpacks full of ammunition were discovered with the deceased individual.
The commander explained that the border guards initially believed the group was transporting goods. However, as soon as the order to stop was given, the assailants opened fire on the Iranian border guard forces.
In the ensuing exchange of fire, Karimian was killed, and several other assailants were wounded. Goudarzi added that one Iranian border guard was also injured in the incident, but his condition is stable.
