Staffs of Al-Abbas Shrine resume work on Umm Al-Baneen Courtyard Project (+Photos)

The staff of the Engineering Projects Department at the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine has resumed its work on the Umm Al-Baneen Courtyard Project (Peace be upon her), after stopping in the months of Muharram and Safar.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The staff of the Engineering Projects Department at the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine has resumed its work on the Umm Al-Baneen Courtyard Project (Peace be upon her), after stopping in the months of Muharram and Safar.

The Engineer of the project, Mr. Hussein Mohammed Baqer, said that"work has resumed in the Umm Al-Baneen Courtyard Project(Peace be upon it) after stopping in the months of Muharram and Safar, which is located on the northern side overlooking the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon him), within the expansion projects at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in the Baghdad gate area".

He added that "the engineering and technical staff has begun to implement the remaining part of the structural structure of the basement in full, and the implementation of the foundations for communications, Internet, electrical and mechanical systems, and determine their routes and control rooms and service of the project".

The total area of the courtyard of 20 thousand square meters is distributed, including the basement, which occupies the entire area, i.e. 10 thousand square meters, the first and second floors are two Iwans with an area of 4 thousand square meters per floor, and the middle square with an area of 6 thousand square meters.

The Umm al-Baneen Courtyard Project(Peace be upon her) will contribute to achieving a number of goals, including increasing the capacity of visitors, as the project is expected to accommodate up to 60 thousand visitors at a time, which will help reduce congestion and provide better services to visitors.
