AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Israeli regime is taking advantages of the rift among Muslim countries to advance its objective and commit crimes, Maulavi Es’haq Madani, chairman of the Supreme Council at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought says.
Madani made the remarks at the 38th edition of the Islamic Unity Conference that kicked off in the Iranian capital Tehran today.
The Zionists will pursue their oppression and aggression if the Muslims fail to overcome their differences, he pointed out.
The prominent Iranian Sunni cleric advised all Muslims to turn their political and religious differences into convergence and unity, he added.
Muslims residing in Palestine have always respected other divine religions namely Judaism and Christianity, he pointed out.
However, Christians wholeheartedly support the Zionists in the occupied Palestine, he further noted.
His remarks come on the first day of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference with the theme “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values with Emphasis on Issue of Palestine”.
Organized by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, the 38th Islamic Unity Conference is underway on September 19-21.
