Signs of fall; Statements of resistance leaders on assassination of Lebanese citizens through pagers

The Zionist regime on September 17, 2024, in a terrorist act, with the possible cooperation of the pagers manufacturing companies, exploded a big number of pagers in Lebanon leading to the martyrdom and injury of many Lebanese citizens. Based on the announcement of the Lebanese Minister of Health, Firas al-Abiad, this crime resulted in martyrdom of 11 and injury of over 3 thousand citizens.

After the terrorist act of the Zionist regime, the Lebanese anti-terrorist movement, Hezbollah, issued a statement whereby it stressed that the crime will double the resolve of the resistance forces and added, "The occupying regime will pay costly for the crime."

Al-Ahd website also announced that the Secretary General of Hezbollah, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah will deliver a speech on 5 p.m. local time of Thursday September 19 on the regional developments.

Meanwhile, Amal movement, led by the Lebanese Parliament Speaker, Nabih Berri, threatened that this crime will never deter the Lebanese to continue resistance and defense of their land in the face of the Israeli regime's plots. The Palestinian Islamic resistance movement (Hamas), too, announced on the recent Israeli crime,

"The terrorist operation has been committed within the framework of the all-out aggression of the Zionist regime against the region with the US supports." The Free Palestine Movement, also, announced, "This horrible crime against the Lebanese sovereignty is the continuation of bullying and red-headedness of Netanyahu and his extremist cabinet to escape to forward to transfer the battle to the northern front (with Lebanon)."

Moreover, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement condemned the Israeli crime and announced in a statement, "The enemy's resorting to this option is indicative of this regime's despair and limitation of options after the blows it has received from the fronts supporting the Palestinian people."

The Iraqi Hezbollah battalions, in reaction to the broad terrorist act by the Zionist regime, made it clear, "Crimes against the Lebanese will increase the mobilization and anger of people in support for resistance and will further strengthen our brothers in Hezbollah, and we are in the ultimate preparedness to go with them towards the final phase (of battle with Zionists)."

The Iraqi resistance movement (Nujaba), also, issued a statement in support for freedom-seeking of the Arab nations and stressed supporting Hezbollah vis-à-vis the Zionists, the Americans and their allies. The statement added, "These terrorist attacks will have no effect but bolstering perseverance, honor and dignity of the brave men of resistance"

Mohammad Abdul Salam, official spokesman of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement, said on the crime, "The powerful Lebanese resistance is able to deter Israel and it can impose high cost on Tel Aviv for any likely escalation of tension against Lebanon."

The assembly of Yemeni scholars, too, condemning the Israeli terrorist crime, said, "The aggression of the Zionist regime is a cowardly move to cover up its failures."

Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Badr al-Ahmadi, Egyptian Foreign Minister, Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani, Iraqi Prime Minister, Syrian foreign ministry, Hashem Sharafeddin, Spokesman of Yemeni Government of Change and Construction and Ayman Al Safdi, the Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of Jordan, have also strongly condemned the Israeli terrorist act against civilians in Lebanon.
