AhlulBayt News Agency: Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thoughts said, "The inauguration ceremony of the 38th round of the Islamic Unity Conference will be held in Tehran on September 19 with the participation of 234 religious and cultural elites.
Hojjat-ol-Islam Hamid Shahriari, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thoughts, made it clear, "Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will attend the inauguration of the 38th round of the Islamic Unity Conference." Shahriari added, "Religious and official dignitaries from 30 countries, who are mainly the heads of international religious organizations or muftis, will be among the invitees. And, for the first time, guests from the US, East Asia up to West Asia, Malaysia and Indonesia- totally from 30 Islamic countries- will be present."
Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thoughts went on to say, "30 ladies from 30 Islamic countries will also attend the 38th Islamic Unity Conference."
Calling al-Aqsa Mosque as the common heart of the Islamic world, Hojjat-ol-Islam Shahriari made it clear, "Today, the most practical bond among the Islamic Ummah is the issue of Palestine; thus, this year we have added a new title to the Unity Conference, namely, emphasis on the issue of Palestine."
