AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A ceremony is planned to be held this Friday, September 20, in Sydney, Australia, to celebrate the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Imam Jafar Sadiq (AS).
The devotees of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) living in Australia will take part in the celebration at the Samen Al-Aeme Imam Reza (AS) Quran Academy in Sydney.
Mustafa Ashrafi, head of the Quran Academy told IQNA that it will start at 7:30 PM local time on Friday, on the eve of the 17th day of the lunar month of Rabi al-Awwal, which marks the auspicious occasions.
He added that Quran recitation, religious speeches and eulogy recitations will be parts of the program.
Ashrafi also noted that Shia Muslims in Sydney take part in recitation of supplications like Nudba and Kumail at the center every week to renew allegiance with Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).
The recitation of Nudba Supplication has been held every Friday morning in Sydney since nearly 22 years ago, he said.
At first, few participants recognized the lofty concepts of this prayer but that changed gradually, thanks to efforts by clerics to explain them, he stated.
