AhlulBayt News Agency: The head of the medical affairs department at the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine; Dr. Haifa Al-Tamimi, confirmed that more than 8 thousand beneficiaries of medical and health services, during the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-'Askari (peace be upon him) in Samara.
Al-Tamimi said: "the department provided its medical services to visitors arriving in the city of Samara to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Askari(peace be upon him), as 8675 cases received medical care within four days".
She added that " the department has established two medical detachments, one for men and one for women, "pointing out that"the medical services provided include emergency, measuring blood pressure and sugar, and dealing with them in case of emergency.
She explained that"the medical team, which consisted of 14 women and 35 men, came from different governorates such as Diwaniyah, Babylon, Dhi Qar, and Karbala, specifically from the health departments in those governorates; to provide its medical and preventive services, in addition to health consultations."
