AhlulBayt News Agency: The Deputy Head of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Liaqat Baloch has expressed his heartfelt sympathy for the oppressed Palestinians and said that while celebrating Unity Week all the Islamic world should come together against the ongoing genocide of Muslims in Palestine.
Liaqat Baloch said, "Among the Muslims, the holiness and the belief in ending the prophecy by Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) is the main reason for unity, so programs are being organized to express love and respect to the Holy Prophet (PBUH), but the real message of his mission and life is that the believers should be united and to avoid any division among themselves."
Talking about the importance of Unity Week and its impact on the Palestine issue he added, "At the same time programs are taking place regarding the week of unity have an important message that we should stand by the land of the Prophets and the first Qibla, Palestine and the people of Gaza. During the ongoing genocide of the oppressed Palestinians by the Israeli regime so far about 42,000 people have been martyred, including a large number of women and children, about 100,000 people have been injured, and a large number of people are also missing and imprisoned by Zionism."
"On this occasion, we must stand with the Muslims of Gaza through the unity of the Ummah, through the message of unity and solidarity. Any pressure from the world that supports Israel to recognize the illegitimate state of Israel must be rejected. The founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam, had started the movement to create a country based on the Kalma, he had also said that Palestine belongs only to the Palestinians, and Israel is an evil whose elimination is inevitable. We believe that the entire ummah should be united on the occasion of unity week and the birthday of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), only the unity of the ummah can save Muslims from crises", the Deputy head of Jamaat-e-Islami said.
