AhlulBayt News Agency: The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine held its annual condolence program in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Askari (peace be upon him).
The program is organized by the Public Speaking Division of the Husseini Preaching at the holy shrine, and includes the holding of morning and evening mourning councils.
The preacher of the Council; Sheikh Ahmed al-Abadi, said that"the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine held its annual condolence Council in the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Askari (peace be upon him)".
He added that"the council lasts for three days and is held morning and evening, and highlights the blessed biography of Imam al-Askari (peace be upon him) and his great achievements for the benefit of the Islamic nation with its various sects, and what he suffered from oppression at the hands of the Titans".
The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is keen to hold condolence councils in order to commemorate the occasions of the Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and convey their knowledge, virtues and blessed biography.
