AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The city of Bitlis in southeastern Turkey was the scene of a rally where children voiced solidarity with the people of Palestine and the Gaza Strip.
The children carried Palestinian flags and banners in support of Gaza, Ilk Haber website reported.
They gathered at the Kadhim Pasha School and marched toward a main square where the city’s grand mosque is located.
The rally was part of a program organized by the city’s Quran Generation center under the title of “Life with Salah (prayer) is more beautiful”.
The program also included recitations of verses from the Quran by the children, singing religious songs and reading Hadiths.
The director of the center also delivered a speech in which he highlighted the importance of Al-Aqsa Mosque in the holy city of al-Quds.
He described defending al-Aqsa as a religious duty of all Muslims and said, “We will not leave our Muslim brothers alone on this path.”
