Ahlulbayt News Agency: The Department between the Two Holy Shrines in the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine offers its services to transport visitors to the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them) via environmentally friendly electric carts powered by Clean Energy.
The assistant head of the Department; Mr. Mohammed Al-Taweel, said that"the Department's staff works for 24 hours to reduce the burden on visitors intending to visit the two holy shrines, especially the elderly and people with special needs, in order to ensure their arrival to the nearest point to perform the Ziyarat, by providing dozens of carts powered by Clean Energy".
He added that" the carts were distributed on seven different axes at the entrances of the Old City of Karbala, to transport visitors over a period of 24 hours with three meals, including Qibla gate, Baghdad gate, Al-Hawra Street, Alqami Street, al-Qamar inspection point, and Al-Maqam, "explaining that"the carts also provide services to the departments of the holy shrine by transporting materials through it."
Al-Tawil pointed out that "the purpose of the electric charging carts is to provide the highest levels of Service and comfort to visitors, by delivering them to the nearest point surrounding the Holy Courtyard, in addition to working on clean energy; to reduce as much as possible the emission of gases associated with the vehicles in the region".
