AhlulBayt News Agency: The head of the Department of Machinery at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, engineer Alaa Ammar Yasser, confirmed that the department has allocated 1,600 vehicles for the transportation and service of the visitors of Arba'een.
Yasser said that " the preparation for the Ziyarat Arba'een began not so long ago, as the department has prepared a fleet of transport buses of different capacities and sizes, in order to contribute to relieving the burden of visitors during their arrival and departure from Karbala, along with specialized vehicles such as cleaning and others," pointing out that "the plan will be implemented in stages until the end of the Ziyarat Arba'een".
"The buses that will participate in the plan have reached 1,600 buses, with different capacities, sizes and specializations, and will work on all axes leading to the city of Karbala,"he added.
The head of the department explained that"the service side included the involvement of ambulances, to contribute and participate in the medical plan of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, as it will work to transfer cases to medical evacuation centers".
He explained that"the department has prepared Basin trucks that work to transport potable water from the Holy Shrine station for water production, and distribute it to visitors 'processions and service complexes affiliated with the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, in addition to equipping trucks for sewage in case of need".
He continued, " the department inspected and configured tank cars, specialized tractors, ambulances, as well as providing all the needs, including tires, oils, batteries, maintenance of car engines and transmissions," adding that "the Department's staff prepared and maintained all the buses and trucks to participate in the commemoration of the millions visitors of the Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn(peace be upon him)".
Engineer Alaa Ammar Yasser pointed out that"the department has prepared a mobile maintenance team equipped with tools and spare parts to deal with any emergency failure that may occur to the vehicles during their work by the blessed Ziyarat Arba'een".
He stressed that "this came within the efforts of the Al-Abbas's(P) shrine to provide the best possible services to the visitors of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), in order to facilitate their movement and meet their service needs in this blessed Ziyarat".
The Departments of the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine have conducted Security, Service and organizational preparations, and integrated plans since early this year, to receive the visitors of the Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).
