Arbaeen symbol of Muslim unity: Ugandan Shia man

Yasin Monge, a young Ugandan convert who became a Shia after learning the pure teachings of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT), stated, “I admit Arbaeen is an example of the solidarity and unity of Muslims, and I ask all Muslims to join us in this event.”

One of the manifestations of the Arbaeen walk is the participation of pilgrims and followers of Imam Hussain (PBUH) from all over the world and with every nationality and race.

Hojjat al-Islam Ramzi Khales, one of the missionaries of the cultural assistant of the Khorasan seminary, and Hujjat al-Islam Hossein Nouri, the head of the group of linguists of the Khorasan seminary, had an interview with Yasin Monge.

"Yasin Monge" is a young Ugandan convert who became a Shia after getting acquainted with the pure teachings of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) in the last four years. Yasin Monge admits that their government spread false propaganda about Shiites in media, and if they present the facts, people will definitely join.

Referring to the magnificence of Hosseini Arbaeen, Monge emphasized,” I admit that Arbaeen Walk is an example of the solidarity and unity of Muslims, and I ask all Muslims to join us and spread the unity among the Muslims of the world.”

Arbaeen commemoration, one of the biggest events of the Shiite calendar which marks the 40th day of mourning for Imam Hussein (PBUH) , the grandson of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).

Last year, some 22 million pilgrims attended the commemoration in the Iraqi shrine city of Karbala, where Imam Hussein and his brother Hazrat Abbas are buried, according to official figures.
