AhlulBayt News Agency: The Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas complex(peace be upon him) announced that its factories produce 70 tons of crystalline ice daily to serve the visitors of Arba'een.
The complex belonging to the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is located on the walking route of visitors heading towards the holy city of Karbala to commemorate the Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn(peace be upon him), on the axis (Najaf - Karbala).
Engineer Firas Mohammed Saleh, head of the air conditioning and cooling department at the holy shrine, said that "the Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas complex(peace be upon him) to serve visitors includes two ice production Laboratories, one dedicated to the production of regular ice blocks, and the other to the production of crystalline ice".
"We produce 70 tons of crystalline ice every day, while our daily production of Ice blocks reaches more than 26 tons through two production lines,"he added.
"The ice material we produce is distributed to the Husseini service processions located on the (Najaf - Karbala) axis, to meet their needs in light of the increase of numbers of visitors coming to Holy Karbala,"Saleh added.
