Ahlulbayt News Agency: A Quran teacher in Turkey has donated his entire salary to help the people of the Gaza Strip.
Muhsina Ipak, who lives in Batman, a city in southeast Turkey, has made the move to help the oppressed Palestinians made homeless as a result of the Israeli regime’s genocidal war on the coastal enclave.
She has just received her salary after teaching the Quran in a summer course that lasted two months.
She gave the money to a charity organization raising money for the people of Gaza.
Adnan Ondar, the head of the charity organization, said the Quran teacher has not forgotten the oppressed people of the Gaza Strip and what they have been going through.
Appreciating Ipak’s donation, he said she has fulfilled her religious responsibility.
Ondar said while the Zionist regime keeps massacring the people of Gaza, Muslims continue to help the Palestinians however they can.
He noted that some people have donated the money they had collected for Hajj or Umrah pilgrimage to the people of Palestine.
The Israeli regime, flouting a UN Security Council resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire, has faced international condemnation amid its continued brutal offensive on Gaza since October 7, 2023.
Nearly 11 months into the Israeli war, vast tracts of Gaza lie in ruins amid a crippling blockade of food, clean water, and medicine.
Israel is accused of genocide at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which ordered it to immediately halt its military operation in the southern city of Rafah, where more than 1 million Palestinians had sought refuge from the war before it was invaded on May 6.
