Arbaeen, an inspiration for battle of just versus injustice: Lebanese Shia scholar

Sheikh "Hassan Abdullah", a prominent Lebanese scholar said that this year's Arbaeen Pilgrimage is different than before because it coincided with the Resistance struggle against Zionist regime aggressions.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Sheikh "Hassan Abdullah", a prominent Lebanese scholar said that this year's Arbaeen Pilgrimage is different than before because it coincided with the Resistance struggle against Zionist regime aggressions.

Sheikh "Hassan Abdullah", the head of Lebanon's Muslim Scholars Assembly in an exclusive interview with Iran Press in the Capital of Lebanon said: "This year Arbaeen pilgrimage is underway while the Zionist regime attacked Muslims in Gaza, West Bank, Southern Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen and Resistance Forces are struggling against aggressors.

As Ayatollah Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Revolution said these conflicts are battles between "right" and "wrong", Sheikh "Hassan Abdullah" said.

The Head of Lebanon's Muslim Scholars Assembly stressed: " Those who support resistance Axis we can say it is like people who stand with Imam Hussain (a.s.) in the battle of Karbala and those who support Israeli Regime are the tyrant of time (Tyrant Umayyad Caliph Yazid who fought Imam Hussain Army in 680 AD).

Sheikh Abdullah said: " Like in the battle of Karbala on the day of Ashura, blood overcome sword, the Resistance's will gain victory over Zionist regime crimes and massacres in Palestine."

History won't forgive those who left the Resistance alone; As those who left Imam Hussain (AS) alone in the battle of Karbala, Sheikh "Hassan Abdullah" concluded by condemning the international community's silence over the zionist regime genocide in Gaza.

Arbaeen is the completion of 40 days of mourning for martyrs of the Battle of Karbala.

Ashura is marked on the 10th day of Muharram, the first month of the Islamic calendar.

It is a particularly important period of mourning for Shia Muslims, as it marks the anniversary of the seventh-century Battle of Karbala in present-day Iraq when Imam Hussain, the Third Shia Imam was killed by the army of Tyrant Umayyad Caliph Yazid who fought Imam Hussain's Army in 680 AD.
