Medical affairs of Al-Abbas shrine continues to implement its plan for Ziyarat Arbaeen (+Photos)

The Department of medical affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine continues to implement its plan for the Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

AhlulBayt News Agency: The Department of medical affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine continues to implement its plan for the Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

The head of the department, Dr. Haifa Al-Tamimi, said that"the department has started implementing its plan since the seventh of the month of Safar and continues until the 24th of Safar, and the number of medical detachments has reached about 21 detachments, and a group of volunteers from most governorates, in addition to health department employees, participate in each detachment".

She added that " the axes that have entered the service are: (Al-Alqami complex - Al-Ameed University-and Umm Al-Baneen (peace be upon her)), in addition to the main detachments represented by the Centers of the As-Siddiqah al-Tahirah and Umm Al-Baneen (peace be upon them) of the holy shrine," pointing out that "the health departments of the provinces of Karbala and Qadisiyah contributed to providing the department with medicine boxes, in addition to volunteers contributing to provide us with the necessary treatments."

Al-Tamimi pointed out that"the number of volunteers participating in the plan are about 1,100 volunteers helping in the medical detachments, in addition to employees of the health departments, working in shift system over 24 hours, and distributed to emergency lobbies; in order to receive any case, in addition to the crisis cell consisting of doctors, pharmacists, and an integrated medical team equipped with the necessary medicines, in anticipation of any emergency."

She explained that "the department has three emergency halls distributed to multiple centers, including the centers of As-Siddiqah al-Taherah, Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon them) and Jafar al-Hilli, and will start working on the tenth of the month of Safar, according to the tables developed to divide the work of volunteers, in addition to the seven ambulances of the holy shrine, and 10 ambulances of the Ministry of Health, in addition to providing us with doctors specialized in crowd and emergency medicine, distributed to medical detachments".

She pointed out that" the Department seeks to provide all the medical services that the visitor needs during the Ziyarat Arba'een, "pointing out that"the department has provided a specialized dental center in Al-Qaseem square, seeking to provide its services to the visitors of the Arba'een".
