AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A Palestinian teenager succumbed to serious wounds he sustained earlier tonight after being shot by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Anata, east of occupied Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Governorate Media Department said in a statement that Shadi Wisam Shehada, 17, was shot by the Israeli occupation in the town of Anata while he was working at his privately-owned car wash shop in the area.
Local sources said that the occupation snipers inside Pisgat Ze'ev colony, illegally built on citizens’ lands east of Jerusalem, opened fire at the young man, for allegedly throwing stones at the occupation soldiers from behind the separation wall, which led to his serious injury.
He was transferred to hospital for treatment, where he was pronounced dead shortly after.
The killing of Shehada brings the number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli forces in the West Bank since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, to 625, including 146 children and nine women.
