AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): On Friday, the Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH) announced that a consolidated plan has been implemented in cooperation with government departments to provide all services to pilgrims during the Arbaeen ceremony and two thousand volunteers have been employed to serve the pilgrims as best as possible.
According to the Iraqi News Agency, Osama al-Baghdadi, head of the operation chamber of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (AS) praised cooperation and constructive actions of the trusteeship of the holy shrine and declared: All parties and service, security and health institutions are acting integratedly to provide the best services to pilgrims either inside or outside the old part of the city, and this cooperation shows the importance of the shrine of Amirul Mumineen (AS) for pilgrims.
On the other hand, Haider Al-Eisawi, the deputy head of the service affairs department of the holy shrine of Imam Ali (AS), explained: More than 2,000 volunteers will try to serve the pilgrims and meet their ever-increasing needs, because the greatest burden is on the servants of Amir al-Mu’minin (peace be upon him).
Javad Al-Ismaili (Lawa), director of Al-Sajjad Health Clinic in the Holy Shrine, also confirmed: We cooperate with the Health Department of Najaf Ashraf for providing medical services to pilgrims, so that this center has positioned five medical teams in the vicinity of the Holy Shrine and two teams outside the yard to provide essential medical services to Arbaeen pilgrims in different courtyards of the Haram, such as the courtyards of Shaykh Tusi and Lady Fatimah Zahra (S.A).
