AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The executive secretary of the 4th Imam Reza International Media Festival said a special prize dubbed ‘Reviving the Order’ would be awarded to international media productions focusing on Imam Reza’s life and conduct.
Pointing to the call for submissions for this round of festival, Vahdat Ammar, said: “Enhancing the quality and quantity of media productions centering on Imam Reza, identification of, network building among, and interaction with producers and distributors of media works about Imam Reza’s life and conduct at an international level, and generalization and expansion of media works on Imam Reza’s life and conduct on various media, especially modern media are among the objectives of the event”.
Ammar added that supporting and network building among creators of media works on Imam Reza and strengthening the media content about Imam Reza’s teachings, life and conduct were among other objectives of the festival.
The executive secretary of the event further cited the four main themes of the festival as Imam Reza’s life and conduct, pilgrimage diplomacy, Imam Reza shrine’s services, and the identity of the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad.
“The international section of the festival is divided into seven categories of documentary, music video, animation and motion graphic, TV programs, social media page and channel, public campaign for promotion of Imam Reza-related content on social media, and the special prize of ‘Reviving the Order’”, continued Ammar.
The winner in each section will be awarded a prize in cash, a grant for pilgrimage to Mashhad, the festival statuette, and a certificate of appreciation.
All candidates must visit mediafest.razavi.ir and fill in the registration form before submission.
Elsewhere he said that high quality, efficient and mainstream media works and services centering on elucidation and promotion of Quranic teachings and revival of Ahl al-Bait’s school of thought, particularly Imam Reza’s life and conduct, can participate in the festival in any format and language.
The deadline for the submissions will be September 21, 2024, and the winners will be announced, along with the closing ceremony, by mid-January 2025.
