AhlulBayt News Agency: A ceremony was held in the city of Ta’iz, Yemen, to mark the graduation of 721 Quran learners.
They had taken a Quranic course held by a number of Quran memorization centers in the city.
The event also commemorated Martyr Ismail Haniyeh, who was assassinated in Tehran last week.
The organizer decided to name the honoring ceremony and the Quranic course after Haniyeh following his martyrdom in an Israeli terrorist attack.
A large number of people and religious, Quranic and political officials took part in the ceremony in Ta’iz.
Nasr Abdul Ghani Mutahhar, an official with the organizing committee, addressed the event, calling on the graduates to try to be role models in terms of Quranic morality, truthfulness, and piety.
He also praised Martyr Haniyeh and the people of the Gaza Strip who have been sacrificing their lives for the sake of the Muslim Ummah.
