AhlulBayt News Agency: Gaza’s Government Media Office (GMO) revealed in a statement issued on Sunday that since Israel’s war on Gaza began, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have targeted 172 shelters hosting internally displaced persons, of which 152 were schools.
The GMO pointed out that the IOF committed two massacres on Sunday by bombing two shelter schools in Gaza City, resulting in dozens of martyrs and wounded.
The Office said, “With these two new massacres, the occupation has bombed 172 shelter centers inhabited by tens of thousands of displaced people since the beginning of the genocidal war.”
At least 1,040 people have been killed inside those shelters, it added
The GMO called on the international community, the United Nations, various international organizations, and all countries of the world to put pressure on Israel and the US administration to stop the genocidal war against Palestinians.
For its part, the Palestinian Civil Defense reported that 53 civilians were killed since the early morning of Sunday, as a result of the continued Israeli bombing and massacres in various ares in the Gaza Strip.
Dozens of people were also wounded and reportedly missing during the attacks.
