AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): In a statement, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, vehemently denounced the massacre of Shiite Muslims in Parachinar, Pakistan.

The statement of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly is as follows:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم

انا لله و انا الیه راجعون

«وَمَن یَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَآؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِدًا فِیهَا وَغَضِبَ اللّهُ عَلَیْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَابًا عَظِیمًا» ( نساء 93)

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

“Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him do we indeed return” (Holy Quran 2: 156)

“If a man kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, to abide therein (For ever): And the wrath and the curse of Allah are upon him, and a dreadful penalty is prepared for him.” (Holy Quran, 4: 93)

The tragic martyrdom of Shiites in Kurram Agency district (Parachinar) in Pakistan once again grieved the hearts of all Shiites of the world and Muslims of Pakistan. This action, which was perpetrated by Takfiri groups and led to the martyrdom of more than 35 people and the injury of nearly 160 Shiites, once again revealed the oppression against the Shiites and the people of the region and as a result, the international community was compelled to intensify efforts in identifying Takfirism and combating it.

It is undeniable that addressing the challenges of preventing civil and ethnic conflicts in the Parachinar district, combating the spread of takfir and terrorism, and striving for Islamic unity are crucial issues that demand increased attention from the Muslim population of Pakistan and the global community.

The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly vehemently denounces these takfiri actions, and while declaring its solidarity and sympathy with the bereaved families of the martyrs and offering its condolences to the Muslims and followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) in Pakistan, prays to the Almighty God for mercy and forgiveness for the martyrs of these conflicts.

Furthermore, extending its gratitude and appreciating the proactive measures taken by the government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in confronting the Takfiri and terrorist groups, the Assembly urges a concerted and determined endeavor to hold the perpetrators of these actions accountable, as well as to safeguard the lives and properties of the Shiite community in the region.
