Sheikh Salah slams Arab and Islamic positions on Israel’s genocide in Gaza

Sheikh Ra’ed Salah, head of the Islamic Movement in 1948 occupied Palestine, has criticized the official Arab and Islamic positions on the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, describing them as “shocking and inexcusable.”

Ahlulbayt News Agency: Sheikh Ra’ed Salah, head of the Islamic Movement in 1948 occupied Palestine, has criticized the official Arab and Islamic positions on the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, describing them as “shocking and inexcusable.”

“If these official Arab and Islamic positions can offer nothing more than what they have already stated, then this is very unfortunate, and if the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation can offer nothing more than what they have already done, then this means they are in retirement,” Sheikh Salah said in press remarks to Arabi21 news website on Sunday.

“The popular Arab and Islamic positions are still suppressed and stifled, except for some activities that the regimes have permitted in a way that does not harm their interests,” Sheikh Salah added.

Sheikh Salah considered the word “betrayal” to be “the weakest description of the situation in which the Palestinian people are treated as if they are another people from outside the Islamic and Arab circle and as if they have to carry their pains and concerns on their backs alone.”

Sheikh Salah stressed that “the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza has transformed the Palestinian cause from its forgotten local incubator into a global and transcontinental incubator, unmasked the Zionist movement, and unveiled the truth of its slogans.”

“The humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza has awakened the human nature of the world’s peoples and rejuvenated their consciences, so these peoples have stood up and have not sat down, walking the streets of the world’s capitals and chanting: Stop the war on Gaza,” he said.
