AhlulBayt News Agency: Like other unfortunate tribes on the western border of the Pakistan, Kurram is also a region of the country, which is engulfed in fighting for almost 12 months of the year. Rather, Parachinar is more vulnerable than other tribes in this regard.
It is like the atmosphere of unrest in other tribes has started with the arrival of Taliban, while in Parachinar this atmosphere has been established for the last one and a half hundred years.
For the past few weeks, there was tension between Bushehra and Malikhel areas of Upper Kurram over the Kharif sowing issue.
In which Anjuman Hussainiya and Tehreek Hussaini had intervened and reconciled and assured to solve the problem after the mourning days of Muharram i.e. 16th Muharram. When no response was received till 16 Muharram, the problem resurfaced.
However, Anjuman and Tehreek and other elders again went and controlled the situation, so that successful negotiations with the elders of Bushehra and Malikhel along with the government officials took place.
It was decided that the chiefs themselves would go and plow the land owned by Malikhel with a tractor on the same day i.e. Wednesday 24th July in the evening.
This news of successful negotiations went viral on social media and people were convinced of peace.
But when the tractors were brought for plowing in the evening, the people of Bushehra sent a direct reply to return the tractors.
With the return of the tractors, the situation became tense. By the evening, the parties took control of their fronts.
An exchange of fire started between Malikhel and Bushehra near Namaz Maghrib and a war broke out.
Along with this, tension increased on most fronts of Upper and Lower Kurram. At 10 o’clock in the night, the battle broke out in Balashkhel, while at 1 o’clock in the night, the battle also broke out on the front of Tayada. A fierce battle took place on the support front.
As a result of the attack on the village, the parties had to suffer a lot of loss of life and money. About 35 innocent Shia people were martyred and dozens injured by hand grenades and mortar shells by the Bangash tribe.
As of this writing, the battle continues as of this afternoon. Although the inter-tribal peace Jirga is also busy in its efforts to stop the war.
Regardless of the Bushehra accident, if we look at the overall situation in Kurram, it is known that preparations are being made to bathe Kurram in blood once again and plots are being prepared to hand over the area to terrorists.
The movements of the Taliban in Central Kurram for the past few months, the activities of the Taliban in several places of Lower Kurram and then the sensitive and besieged area like Bushehra, which describes itself as oppressed and besieged, the aggressive actions by it are a dangerous conspiracy.
The people in general and the stakeholders of the area, elders and national and religious organizations in particular are requested to consider.
