AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Following the terrorist attack on the mourners for Imam Hussain (a.s.) in the Wadi Al-Kabeer region of Oman, which led to the martyrdom and wounding of a number of mourners and devotees of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in a statement, denouncing this heartbreaking attack, called for identifying the heartless designers and the commanders of this inhumane crime.
The statement is as follows:
بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم
انا لله و انا الیه راجعون
من المومنین رجال صدقوا ماعاهدوا الله علیه فمنهم من قضی نحبه و منهم من ینتظر و ما بدّلوا تبدیلاً
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
“Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him do we indeed return” (Holy Quran 2: 156)
“Of the believers are men who are true to that which they covenanted with Allah. Some of them have paid their vow by death (in battle), and some of them still are waiting; and they have not altered in the least;” (Holy Quran 33: 23)
The distressing and bloody killing of a number of mourners and devotees of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school during the mourning days for the Lord of the Martyrs, Imam Hussain ibn Ali (a.s.) by the ISIS terrorist group, in Imam Ali (a.s.) Mosque and Hussainiyeh in the Wadi Al-Kabeer region in the suburbs of Muscat, the capital of Oman, shows the extreme callousness, ferocity, malice, ignorance, and blind prejudice of these criminal mercenaries.
Now that the Islamic Ummah, especially the Muslim and oppressed people of Palestine, is facing the crimes of the child-killing Zionist regime, and witnessing tragic events in Gaza on a daily basis, the criminal actions of the petrified and brutal terrorists, under the direct planning of the American and the Zionist intelligence services, hurts the heart of every free and right-seeking person, and by these actions, the merciless enemies, try to cover up their failures.
Denouncing this heartbreaking and sad attack, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly sympathizes and offers its condolences to the nation and government of Oman, especially the families of martyrs, and asks God for the martyrs of this cowardly, heaven and being with Imam Hussain (a.s.) and other martyrs of Karbala. The Assembly hopes that the government of the Kingdom of Oman while pursuing and identifying the black-hearted planners and commanders of this inhumane crime, identify the perpetrators and punish them according to the Sharia of Islam and the laws of the country.
