AhlulBayt News Agency: The Department of Hussayni Rituals, Processions and Bodies in Iraq and the Islamic world announced the participation of more than 140 processions in commemorating the burial of the holy bodies.
The assistant head of the Department, Mr. Muhammad Mustafa al-Taweel, said:"the department, as usual, worked in cooperation with the rest of the Departments of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine to create all the conditions to receive mourners participating in commemorating the burial of the holy bodies of the martyrs, his family and companions (peace be upon them)".
"The number of condolence tribal processions that participated this year reached more than (140) processions from inside and outside the province of Karbala, some of them performed their ceremony since this morning, and they participated in the usual ceremony held annually after the noon prayer,"he added.
"The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has mobilized the energies of its staff and mechanisms to provide the best services to the condolence processions coming to commemorate the burial of the holy bodies, on the thirteenth of the holy month of Muharram, which continued to arrive for more than four hours,"al-Taweel said.
The Al-Abbas's (p) shrine has prepared a special plan to revive the burial ceremony of the holy bodies, with the participation of its staffs and a number of volunteers, to organize the entry of condolence processions of men and women, which includes the allocation of the Holy Courtyard in the morning for women, along with the holy sanctuary and the basements, to provide a suitable space befitting their large numbers.
