AhlulBayt News Agency: At least one Israeli was killed, and eight others were injured on Friday in a drone attack on Tel Aviv.
The Israeli occupation army said, “A drone exploded in Tel Aviv, causing one death and several injuries”.
According to Hebrew media, a huge explosion was heard on Ben Yehuda Street in Tel Aviv, hundreds of meters away from the American Embassy.
The Israeli army announced that a body of one person was found dead with injuries of shrapnel, adding that the ambulance confirmed that three Israelis were injured in the incident, before announcing that the number of the wounded had risen to eight.
Media sources also confirmed that the offices of the US Embassy in Tel Aviv were damaged in the drone attack.
The army’s announcement came after the so-called “Israeli Home Front” confirmed earlier that no air penetration into the area had been detected, and therefore no sirens were sounded.
On Friday morning, the Yemeni Armed Forces claimed responsibility for a drone attack on a vital target in Tel Aviv in central 1948 Occupied Palestine.
“A victory for the oppressed Palestinian people and their resistance fighters, and in response to the massacres of the Israeli aggression against our brothers in Gaza,” the Yemeni Armed Forces said in a statement.
The Yemeni forces run by the Ansar Allah group revealed that the operation was carried out with a new drone called “Yafa”, which is capable of penetrating the enemy’s interception systems and that radars cannot detect it, announcing that the operation achieved its goals successfully.
The Yemeni armed forces declared Tel Aviv an unsafe zone and will be its main target within the range of its weapons, saying, “We will focus on targeting the Zionist enemy’s internal front.”
The Yemeni forces confirmed that it has a bank of targets in 1948 Occupied Palestine, including sensitive military and security targets, stressing that they “will continue to strike those targets in response to the enemy’s massacres and daily crimes against our brothers in the Gaza Strip”.
The forces said its operations will not stop unless the Israeli aggression is put to an end and the siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted.
