Ahlulbayt News Agency: The 5th session of Ashura year 1446(Islamic calendar),  organized by followers of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky in Bauchi had two speakers, Sheikh Ahmad Yusuf Yashi and Mal Usman Bello. They both reviewed the impact of the Imam Husein (AS) revolution and the lessons to be learned.

Describing the event of Ashura, the speakers said Imam Husein (AS) remained steadfast on the noble Prophet’s path together with a few of his followers, they laid a path worthy of emulation of never surrendering to a tyrant who derailed from the path of Truth and justice. The Imam AS and his followers sacrificed their lives as recorded in history to save Islam and the noble path of the Holy Prophet  (SAWA).

The speakers expressed that the revolutionary impact of Imam Husein AS impacted the renown Indira Gandhi of India and Nelson Mandela of South Africa in their struggle against their oppressors in their country which helped in uprooting the tyrants.

Mandela, imprisoned for 25 years, became the President later, which could not have been possible if he succumbed to the tyrant of his time, a lesson he learned from the sacrifice of Imam Husain (AS) in Karbala.

Mal Usman further encouraged followers of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky to make sure the teaching of the Imam AS is seen within them throughout their lives.

He praised the sacrifice of brothers and sisters during the Zaria 2015 massacre  by the Buhari regime

Earlier Ashura mourning songs were aired in the venue together with a continued dramatized Ashura scene.

Mal Habib Muhammad ended the day’s program with a closing prayer.
