AhlulBayt News Agency: The Kuwait Public Prosecution has ordered the detention of former Shia MP Hussein Al-Qallaf for 21 days and referred him to the Central Prison for criticizing the restrictions imposed by the Ministry of Interior on the Hussainiyas in a tweet on his social network.
"Fahd Youssef Saud Al-Sabah", the Minister of Interior of Kuwait, previously banned the setting up of tents outside the Husseiniyyas and claimed the reason for this issue to protect the health of the Husseini mourners. This action was met with strong criticism from Shiites in Kuwait.
Sources told that the State Security officers arrested Al-Qallaf after the prosecution issued a warrant to arrest him.
Al-Qallaf denied all the charges against him.
