Visiting the common borders of Arbaeen, visiting the infrastructures of the Khosravi border and attending the joint meeting of the ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iraq in Khosravi to facilitate the movement of Arbaeen Hosseini pilgrims are among the plans of the ministers of the interior of Iran and Iraq.
During his visit to the Khosravi border, Interior Minister Ahmed Vahidi announced the borders accessible for this year's Arbaeen ceremony and said that the Khosravi, Shalamcheh, Chazaba, Mehran, Bashmaq and Tamerchin borders are ready to serve the Arbaeen pilgrims, and Somar border is for the transportation of processions.
The official Khosravi border in Qasrshirin City of Kermanshah province is one of the official crossings for Arbaeen pilgrims this year, and it is expected that the number of pilgrims going to Iraq from this border will double compared to last year.
