AhlulBayt News Agency: The Karbala processions continue their condolences' processions on the eve of the third of the month of Muharram, to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hussayn and his family and companions (peace be upon them) on Ashura.

Many Zinjeel condolences' processions of the people of Karbala flocked to the holy shrines to commemorate the tragedy of Ashura, in an annual tradition of the processions with the advent of the holy month of Muharram.

The Karbala processions continue with their condolences' processions throughout the month of Muharram, to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hussayn and his family and companions (peace be upon them) on Ashura day.

The mourning processions in the first ten days of the month of Muharram are reserved for the people of Karbala, which is a mourning custom that they have been keen to establish since ancient times and begins with the descent of the mourning Zinjeel processions.

The movement of Processions is carried out according to an organized plan, developed by the Department of Hussayni rituals, processions and bodies at the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them), where its march is through specific streets leading to the Qibla gate of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) passing through the Holy Courtyard, and then out of the gate of Imam al-Hassan (Peace be upon him) to conclude at the shrine of the Master of martyrs Imam al-Hussayn (Peace be upon him), passing through the square between the Two Holy Shrines.

The rituals department allocates teams of its staff to accompany the March of each procession from the moment it starts to its conclusion, in order to organize the March to avoid overcrowding, and according to special paths to ensure that there is no intersection between one procession and another or with visitors.
