AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Nahj al-Balagha, which is the translation of the Holy Quran, enumerates the characteristics of a pure and beautiful life and explains the principles of an enlightened life.
The text of senior scholar Grand Ayatollah Mazaheri's message to the third Nahj al-Balagha International Conference, Way of Salvation; "Nahj al-Balagha and Noble Life" held in Isfahan is as follows:
In the name of God
We thank the Almighty God that this honorable conference is being held with the efforts of you, dear thinkers, to take advantage of this vast ocean of Nahj al-Balagha. The efforts of Nahj al-Balagha Foundation and its officials in this matter should also be appreciated, in its third step in setting up the scientific conference, it has considered the topic of "honorable life from the point of view of Nahj al-Balagha" and this significant and fundamental issue in it has been discussed among you educated guests.
The question of how to achieve a happy life has been an ancient and constant question of man throughout the history of mankind, and for this reason, one of the basic goals of the prophets' mission is to give meaning to human life and guide him from darkness to the light of happiness and righteous life, and it is for this reason that God Almighty has made a "good life" as a reward for those who are on the right path of faith and act with merit and righteousness. This good life is the honorable life and the felicitous life.
Nahj al-Balagha, which is the translation of the Holy Quran, enumerates the characteristics of this pure and beautiful life in different dimensions and explains the principles of this bright life.
If this conference, by God's grace, explains parts of these shining Alavi teachings and the humanistic teachings of Nahj al-Balagha concretely and practically, it will certainly have achieved its goal.
It is hoped that your high efforts, dear ones, will lead to tangible results with the special care of the Commander of the Faithful, and will quench the thirsty souls of those who are interested in the long words of His Excellency from the enlightened teachings of Nahj al-Balagha.
I ask the Almighty God for approval and success for everyone in achieving a good life and a happy life in this world and the hereafter, and we ask Him to make us all more familiar with the teachings of the Qur'an and Etrah and grant us the power of understanding these enlightened teachings and may he bless all of us with success and happiness.
