Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Jalal Hosseini, who leads the Astan Quds Razavi Libraries, Museums, and Documentation Center, shared details of the initiative, noting that this effort is part of a broader mission to preserve and promote the Persian language within the country.

He said that Iranian cultural center in Herat has been actively working to supply books to the western regions of Afghanistan and has engaged in discussions with the Astan Quds Razavi organization to facilitate this.

Hosseini highlighted the geographical and cultural ties between the city of Mashhad and Afghanistan, noting the significance of the Imam Reza shrine and its influence on Afghan culture and literature.

He stated that there has been a steady flow of requests for books from various cultural institutions in Afghanistan.

From 2017 to the present, the shrine’s library has been instrumental in delivering these books to Afghan cultural institutions.

He said that various centers in Ghor province, Samangan province, and Herat have received a diverse range of study materials covering various subjects, all aimed at enriching the educational landscape of Afghanistan.
