AhlulBayt News Agency: The Sindh Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested 2 facilitators of the banned organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan while conducting an operation in Sohrab Goth supermarket.
According to the spokesperson of CTD, the arrested suspects include Hasan Gul Mehsud and Bashir Ahmed, the names of both the accused have been notified in the Fourth Schedule by the Sindh government for facilitating terrorists.
A large amount of funding for terrorism has been recovered from the possession of the arrested accused. On the instructions of Amir banned organization Tehreek Taliban Pakistan, the accused also bought 2 automatic modern 9mm pistols from the money obtained from the funding.
Both the pistols have been recovered on the identification of the accused.
According to the spokesman, the accused were running an illegal truck base at the supermarket area of Gulzar Hijri police station. The profits from the base are used to finance the terrorists of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.
Cases of terror funding and weapons were registered against the accused in police station CTD Karachi.
