AhlulBayt News Agency: The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine celebrated the graduation of more than 4,500 students from the summer Quranic courses project in Karbala governorate.
The summer courses were supervised by the Institute of the Holy Quran in Karbala, which belongs to the scientific complex of the Holy Quran at the Holy Shrine.
The celebration events were held at the Al-Ameed educational group, in the presence of the deputy secretary general of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine; Mr. Abbas Moussa, a number of members of its board of directors, heads of departments and officials, as well as university figures, academics, and students ' families.
The ceremony began with a beautiful recitation of the verses of the Holy Quran, which was read by one of the buds of the project, followed by the reading of Surah Al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs, and then the Iraqi national anthem and the anthem (the melody of Pride).
The events witnessed a speech by the deputy head of the scientific complex, Dr. Liwa Abdul Hassan, in which he explained that"the summer Quranic courses project was supervised by the scientific complex of the Holy Quran and implemented by the Institute of the Holy Quran in Karbala with the participation of more than 4,500 students from the bud and emerging categories".
He added,"through the courses project, the scientific complex sought to create a Quranic environment and an Islamic incubator that works to create a conscious Quranic generation equipped with Quranic concepts and the knowledge of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) through the (collection and immunization) binary; the collection is the education and immunization is a necessity to protect our children from hybrid inputs and imports on their thinking and behavior,"he said.
The ceremony included several paragraphs, including a speech to the students of the project presented by student Hassan Hammoud Redief, in which he outlined the most important materials studied in the courses, namely jurisprudence, ethics, biography and the Quran, as well as a brief explanation of some of what the Quranic courses dealt with in terms of teaching the correct reading of the verses of the Holy Quran.
At the end of his speech, the student thanked, on behalf of the rest of his colleagues, the supreme religious authority, the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, and the teachers and professors who contributed to the success of organizing Quranic courses.
The ceremony also included the chanting of more than 4,500 students from the graduates of the summer Quranic courses project, the Pledge of allegiance to follow the original Quranic curriculum.
The scientific complex of the Holy Quran has prepared customized curricula according to a systematic scientific program, which is provided to students and school students during the summer school holidays, to fill their time with what is useful, and to ensure the emergence of a good generation loving the Holy Quran and the teachings of the Islamic religion on the guidance of Ahl Al-Bayt school (peace be upon them).
