Al-Abbas shrine launches Imam Ali conference within activities of 2nd intl Imamate week

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has launched the Imam Ali (P) scientific conference, within the activities of the second international Imamate week.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has launched the Imam Ali (P) scientific conference, within the activities of the second international Imamate week.

The conference, which was held at the Faculty of Medicine at Al-Kafeel University, was attended by the secretary-general of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine; Sayed Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia-Uddin, a number of its board members, officials, academic and official figures.

The holy shrine holds the second international scientific week of the Imamate, under the slogan (the prophecy and the Imamate are inseparable titles) and under the title (the curriculum of imams-peace be upon them - in the education of the individual and the nation).

The conference activities began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader Sheikh Mahdi Qalandar, followed by the reading of Surah Al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs of Iraq, listening to the anthem of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine (the melody of Pride), followed by the speech of the preparatory and scientific committee of the conference delivered by the president of Al-Kafeel University, Dr. Nawras al-Dahan.

The conference will witness the discussion of (8) researches dealing with multiple axes, including the impact of the narrations of Imam Ali (Peace be upon him) on the Quranic and exegetical Sciences, the axis of religious education, the axis of psychological, moral and social education, the axes of literary and cultural education, health and physical education.

During the Imamate week, the A,-Abbas's (p) shrine seeks to devote the sciences of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and their course in addressing the crises of the contemporary world, and to demonstrate the impact of the role of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in resolving intellectual doubts and countering deviant ideas.
