AhluBayt News Agency: Many processions of the people of Karbala flocked to extend condolences to the Master of martyrs and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Baqer (peace be upon him).
The procession of the condolence processions is an annual tradition that was held by the people of the holy city of Karbala in cooperation with the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them), to commemorate the occasions of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
The poet Ghassan Al-Quraishi said from one of the condolence processions: "the symbolic coffin procession starts from the Baghdad gate area and ends in the courtyard of Imam Aba Abdillah al-Hussayn (peace be upon him)," adding that "the condolence processions extended condolences in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Baqer (peace be upon him).
"The processions continue to descend to extend condolences on all martyrdom anniversaries of the Ahl al-Bayt (Allah's prayers be upon them),"he continued.
For his part, the poet Firas al-Asadi said from the procession of the people of Karbala: "these condolence marches were made by the people of Karbala and inherited from parents and grandparents to go out to extend condolences at the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and commemorate this sad occasion."
