Two more Israeli captives killed by regime bombing: Hamas

Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas resistance movement, says two Israeli captives held in Gaza have lost their lives to non-stop bombardment of the narrow territory, adding to scores of detainees who had earlier been killed at the hands of the regime.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas resistance movement, says two Israeli captives held in Gaza have lost their lives to non-stop bombardment of the narrow territory, adding to scores of detainees who had earlier been killed at the hands of the regime.

In a video published on its Telegram channel, the group said the two captives were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Rafah a few days ago.

The group did not identify the captives killed in the attack.

In the video addressed to the Israeli settlers, the movement said the regime “does not want your hostages to return, except in coffins.”

It's estimated that around 250 Israelis were taken captive on October 7 last year during a historic Hamas operation against the entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

A week-long truce deal agreed in November saw Hamas release 105 captives in return for some 240 Palestinians held in Israeli jails.

Israel believes over 100 of the captives are still held in the Gaza Strip and that more than 70 of them are alive.

Hamas says scores of captives have been killed in the intense bombing campaign of the strip and the regime’s invasion of the strip.

The regime retrieved four captives held by Hamas in a genocidal raid in central Gaza's al-Nuseirat on June 8.

The health ministry in Gaza says over 250 Palestinians were killed in that raid and hundreds of others were injured.

Hamas said the Israeli raid killed three other captives, including an American citizen.
