Al-Abbas shrine honors a number of blind people who memorize “Nahj al-Balaghah” (+Photos)

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine honored a number of blind men who memorize "Nahj al-Balaghah" in Diyala province, after completing the project assigned to them.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine honored a number of blind men who memorize "Nahj al-Balaghah" in Diyala province, after completing the project assigned to them.

The honor came in the presence of the secretary general of the holy shrine; sayed Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia-Uddin, and his deputy, engineer Abbas Musa, in addition to a number of members of the board of Directors of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine, heads of departments and officials.

The organization of the project of memorizing the "Nahj al-Balaghah" and understanding its phrases for the Blind is supervised by the Department of development and sustainable development of the Holy Shrine.

The deputy secretary, Engineer Abbas Musa, said:" a number of blind people from Diyala province asked us by chance to host them at the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, as they included the Holy Quran memorizer and others who memorize "Nahj al-Balaghah; ie The Peak of eloquence", so we invested this topic to prepare this project for them, which lasted for one month, "pointing out that"the experience will be generalized to the rest of the provinces of Iraq."

The head of the department, Dr. Mohammed Hassan Jaber, said: "the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine hosted a group of blind people from the al-Yaqeen foundation for the blind and visually impaired in Diyala Governorate, to honor them after conducting an electronic course for a month during which they memorized (51) short wisdom words of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), and they received some awards."

He added that " this activity comes as part of the activities and events held by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for its departments and other institutions to explain the contents of the "Nahj al-Balaghah" and its memorization," pointing out that "the program has two main goals, the first is to increase the number of memorizers, the other is to expand the education area to memorize texts from the "Nahj al-Balaghah".

For their part, the blind people thanked the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for giving them the opportunity and helping them memorize the wisdom words of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
