AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Shia scholar Grand Ayatollah Hussein Nouri Hamedani stated,” Today, I emphasize the same words of the late Imam Khomeini that preserving this revolution is obligatory and weakening it is haram, and any problems must be solved in the right way, the most important of which is the ballot box and the election of the right person who believes in the main pillar of the Islamic revolution which means the authority of the jurist.”
The text of Shia source of emulation Grand Ayatollah Hussein Nouri Hamedani's message on the occasion of the demise anniversary of Imam Khomeini (RA) is as follows:
In the name of God
Once again, on the eve of the passing away of the supreme leader, the founder of the Islamic Revolution of Iran; Imam Khomeini, may God's mercy be upon him. A distinguished character who has been unique in recent centuries. A man who changed the political equations of the world and was able to take steps in favor of the oppressed and disturb the arrogant. He was persistent in his path, since he did not fear anything other than God and people were his main concern, his scientific brilliance in jurisprudence, principles, theology, philosophy and Quranic interpretation made him one of the most prominent personalities of the seminary, and was in accordance with the culture of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT).
Science, morals and sincerity surged in him, and from this passage, by trusting in God and appealing to the innocent imams (peace be upon them) and the support of the people, he achieved the greatest revolution, and after his demise, his successor, the supreme leader of the revolution with the same attributes continued the way and despaired the enemies.
Today, I emphasize the same words of the late Imam that preserving this revolution is obligatory and weakening it is forbidden and any problems must be solved in the right way, the most important of which is the ballot box and the election of the right person with the qualities of piety, sincerity, and attending to the needs of society. The future president must believe in the main pillar of the system, which is guardianship of religious jurist.
Today, the nation of Iran, following the martyrdom of the president, who was an example of these qualities, is on the threshold of the elections, which, God willing, will continue the path of the noble Imam Khomeini, and it should be noted that today unity is a principle, and the atmosphere of the society should not be affected with destruction, slander and lies.
In the end, I ask Almighty God to pay homage to the eminent soul of Late Imam Khomeini, and wish for the health and success of the supreme leader of the revolution, and I ask the Almighty God for the honor of the noble nation of Iran.
