AhlulBayt News Agency: The Palestinian child Abdul Qadir Al-Sarhi, 13, died on Saturday of starvation in Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip as a result of malnutrition and the lack of treatment following the Israeli closure of Rafah border crossing.
This brings the death toll due to malnutrition and drought to 37 amid the Israeli genocidal war and siege which have been preventing aid delivery into the Gaza Strip, causing an escalating famine.
Local Palestinian platforms circulated pictures showing large quantities of food aid spoiled while parking on the Egyptian side of the Rafah crossing in the southern Gaza Strip due to waiting for long hours amid high temperatures, while famine is deepening in the Strip.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said that the number of martyrs among its crews in Gaza has risen to 33 with 19 of whom were martyred while fulfilling their humanitarian duty.
Meanwhile, the Mayor of Gaza Yahya Al-Sarraj said, in an interview with Al-Jazeera, that the Israeli military operations systematically targeted municipal services and facilities in the Gaza Strip, adding that the services provided by the municipality no longer meet the urgent needs of the people.
