Ahlulbayt News Agency: Indian-Israeli trained *trolls are hell-bent on creating a "cancel culture" for the supporters of Palestine.
Several Bollywood stars, such as Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Karina Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, and Varun Dhawan, demonstrated their solidarity with Palestine a few days after the Israeli attack on Rafah. Alia wrote in her Instagram page, "All children deserve love. All children deserve security. All children deserve peace. All children deserve life. And all mothers deserve to be able to give these to their children.
She wrote this alongside #AllEyesOnRafah.
Other stars, like Madhuri Dixit Nene, Tripti Dimri, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Dia Mirza and Swara Bhaskar, also joined them.
But, shortly after, as usual, seemingly Indian trolls in an organized manner rushed towards the sub-posts of these famous celebrities in coordination with the Israeli propaganda policies. These trolls, which make use of certain propaganda techniques such as "Whataboutism" against individuals, exerted their utmost to put these popular figures in the spiral of silence to make them unable to express their opinion.
In fact, these trained trolls intend to create a "cancel culture" for the supporters of Palestine in India.
For instance, some of these trolls with a similar literature and using the Whataboutism technique in their offensive comments, wrote under the posts of these celebrities: There is no harm in standing by humanity. Why don’t you speak of Hindus being killed? Why don't you speak of the Israeli dead? Why don’t you speak of the Christian dead?
Other trolls, while concealing the original story of usurpation of the Palestinian territory by migrating Zionists in the 20th century and repeated invasions of Israel on Palestinians, wrote: Why don’t you say what is the guilt of Hamas and Palestinians? Why don’t you say that Hamas is the cause of war?
A number of other accounts, in a troll-like manner, wrote below the posts of sympathy of these celebrities: If you are right, come and speak about wronging the Hindus instead. Why don’t you speak about India? Why do you speak about the people abroad?
Since the onset of carnage of Palestinians by Israel, a weird global event on the cyberspace has been the rush of seemingly Indian organized groups in support for these massacres. According to a number of analytical websites, Israel and Netanyahu have invested exorbitantly, for the past years, to use the Indian manpower and cyberspace against their opponents, particularly Muslims.
* Troll is a person who intentionally sends provocative, irrelevant or insulting comments to oppose the disturbing content of others.
