AhlulBayt News Agency: The capital, Sanaa, and other Yemeni provinces witnessed on Friday afternoon massive rallies in support of the Palestinian people and Yemen’s Armed Forces’ operations under the slogan, ” With Gaza… Escalation Regardless of the Challenges.”
Protesters raised up flags of freedom, Yemeni and Palestinian flags, and banners condemning the US- Zionist aggression on Gaza and war crimes against the people of Gaza. They also condemned the Arab and Islamic abandonment of the Palestinian people.
A statement was issued during the rallies, blessing the swift retaliatory operation carried out by the Yemeni armed forces against the American aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower in the Red Sea, which came in response to the recent raids and crimes committed by the American-British aggression in Sanaa and Hodeida, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of 58 citizens.
The statement saluted the brave Palestinian people and the greatness of its fighters, honoring the operations on the Gaza, West Bank, Lebanese, and Iraqi fronts. Special mention was made to the Yemeni Armed Forces for their qualitative operations, giving full support for them and the leadership.
The rallies’ statement condemned the economic war waged by the US-backed Saudi-led coalition against the besieged Yemeni people, the latest of which was the targeting of banks operating in the free provinces, demanding the armed forces to deter those who attack the livelihood of the citizens.
The statement specifically warned “the Saudi-Emirati coalition against succumbing to American and Zionist pressures and proceeding with their dirty conspiracy,” stating that “adding fuel to the fire will ignite it in their faces, hearts, and guts.”
It called on practical support for the Palestinian people from Arab people and leaders, avoiding misinformation, and expressed full solidarity with the Egyptian people in the face of the murder of Egyptian soldiers at the Rafah crossing.
