AhlulBayt News Agency: The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) committed yet another massacre on Tuesday morning in Mawasi Rafah, to the south of the Gaza Strip, killing 21 Palestinian civilians and wounding 64 others, 10 of them critically.
The IOF shelled the tents housing thousands of displaced civilians, the Ministry of Health said, adding that most of the martyrs were women and children whose scattered remains were strewn among the tents.
The Hamas Movement, commenting on the massacre, said that the UN Security Council must stand up to its legal and moral responsibilities vis-à-vis Israel’s defiance of the International Court of Justice’s ruling which stipulated an immediate cessation of the aggression on Rafah.
For its part, the emergency committee in Rafah described the massacre as a new war crime and a new chapter of the war of genocide to be added to the “terrorist, Nazi occupation’s record.”
It called on the international community to immediately intervene to stop this war of extermination and to provide protection for the Palestinian people.
