AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Ayatollah Seyyed Abdullah Gharifi, one of Bahrain's scholars, expressed his condolences on the martyrdom of Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi and his companions who were martyred in an unfortunate plane crash.

A Bahraini scholar Ayatollah Seyyed Abdullah Gharifi expressed his condolences on the martyrdom of Hujjat al-Islam Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and his companions, who were martyred in the unfortunate plane crash on Sunday.

He said, “We offer our condolences to Hazrat Saheb al-Asr and Al-Zaman (PBUH), the great Shia sources of emulation, and the nation of Iran for this great tragedy that filled the hearts with sorrow and pain and caused a great loss.

“They lived a life full of righteousness, a life full of achievements for their nation and ummah, and a life full of striving for all the right issues in the world and for all their great goals in an era when all the evil forces in the world are enemies of Islam, Ummah, and nations. Therefore, it requires all capacities to unite in protecting the goals of this nation.” He added.

This Bahraini scholar emphasized that the victims of this heartbreaking incident in Iran were loyal to their country, their nation, the Islamic Ummah, and all the good causes in the world of humanity.

He went on to say,” The issue of Palestine, and Gaza, which is at the top of the priorities, was a great concern for this group of righteous and benevolent people, and their absence is considered a great loss for this main issue and all crucial issues in the Islamic world.”

In the end, Ayatollah Gharifi said,” The passing of these righteous and faithful people in a stage full of hardships and challenges doubled the greatness of this loss and caused a lot of pain and grief.”
