The Shia Ulema Council of Afghanistan expressed its condolences on the martyrdom of Iran’s President, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Representative of the Supreme Leader, and Governor of East Azerbaijan Province.

In the name of God
To God we belong and to God we return
We were deeply saddened and shocked to learn that Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi passed away in a heartbreaking helicopter crash. President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Hossein Amir Abdullahian, Ayatollah Ale Hashem; Friday imam of Tabriz, Malik Rahmati; The governor of Tabriz and his companions have lost their lives.
The Shia Ulema Council of Afghanistan, while expressing their sympathy and sorrow for this great tragedy, expresses their condolences to the supreme leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Muslim nation of Iran, the bereaved families, and the survivors and the noble nation of Iran. We ask Allah Almighty for Patience and a great reward for the martyrs.
