Italian support for Palestine

According to Iran's Young Journalists Club, Stefano Apuzzo, a former Italian parliamentarian, announced his support for the oppressed people of Palestine by displaying a "Stop the Gaza Genocide" banner and hoisting the Palestinian flag on the balcony of the Italian parliament building. Meanwhile, Italian actress Jasmine Trinca also showed her solidarity with the Palestinian people by wearing a Palestinian flag pin at the 77th Cannes Film Festival in France.

Commemoration ceremony for Martyr Raeisi in Vatican

Meanwhile, according to IRNA, a commemoration ceremony was held at the Islamic Center of al-Mahdi in the Iranian Embassy in Vatican City to honor the memory of the late Iranian President and the victims of the recent plane crash in Iran. In this ceremony, Mohammad Reza Sabouri, the Iranian ambassador to Italy, said that the martyrs, including President Raeisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, had elevated Iran's status in the region and internationally by following the guidelines of the Leader and the principles of "dignity, wisdom, and expediency".

IMF warning about Italy's debt

According to Tasnim News Agency, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has warned about Italy's debt, emphasizing the need for rapid and decisive financial reforms to address the country's debt crisis. The IMF predicts that Italy's public debt will reach 140% of its GDP by 2024.

Expulsion of a pro-Palestine imam from France

According to Iqna, French authorities have expelled Abdurrahman Rizvan, the imam of the al-Farooq Mosque in Bordeaux, France, for supporting the Palestinian people and allegedly promoting "anti-Israeli" sentiments.

Life sentence for three Syrian officials in France

Meanwhile, according to the AFP, a French court has sentenced three Syrian officials to life imprisonment for war crimes. The court accused Ali Mamlouk, the former head of Syria's National Security Bureau of the Ba'ath Party, Jamil Hassan, the former head of the Air Force Intelligence Directorate, and Abdel Salam Mahmoud, a senior Air Force Intelligence official, of committing war crimes.

Paris and its Western allies have increased pressure on Syria after the Syrian army's successes against terrorist groups in the region.

Publication of Iranian poet's works in France

According to ISNA, a French translation of a collection of poems by Iranian poet Mohammad Shams Langeroudi has been published in France. The book describes Langeroudi as one of the most important contemporary literary figures in Iran, born in a city on the Caspian coast and currently living in Tehran. He has published 27 poetry collections, two novels, and several research books so far.
