AhlulBayt News Agency: The scientific complex of the Holy Quran at the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine launched the summer Quranic courses project in cooperation with the agents of the supreme religious authority office in Najaf Al-Ashraf.
The courses are held by the Holy Quran Institute in Najaf, part of the complex, with the participation of more than (8000) students aged (6-16) years.
The director of the institute, Mr. Muhannad al-Mayali, said that" the project aims to teach young people and boys the origins and branches of religion, under the supervision of (270) professors and teachers with competence and specialization, "noting that"students receive over (45) days lessons in the correct reading of some Quranic surahs, jurisprudence, beliefs, ethics and biography of Ahl Al-Bayt(peace be upon them); to consolidate the religious identity of students in accordance with the approach of the Holy Quran and the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
He added that"the curricula used in the courses were prepared by a specialized committee at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine within three age stages, characterized by simplification taking into account the students 'levels".
For his part, the head of the activities unit at the institute; Sayed Zayd Madouhi al-Rammahi, said that " the Institute's staff distributed (8000) curricula to students participating in the courses, in (130) mosques and husseiniya in the center of Najaf province, its districts and areas, as well as launching an application for professors to follow these courses on a daily basis."
